April Lecture Series: Intro to Compost Tea

Come hang out with the Bloom crew, and Moose and Ian from Vital on Thursday, April 26th at 1pm at Division. They'll be giving an introductory course on compost tea, focusing on the benefits of compost and how to brew an effective compost tea and extract. They'll also touch on the relevance of soil microbiology in horticulture, and how as cultivators we can encourage a healthy ecosystem in our gardens. Grab a pencil and a friend, we'll see you then!

Commercial Workshop: Learn How to Save Up to 40% Off New Lighting and HVAC

Our February Lecture Series will focus on commercial producers and their energy consumption. We will be hosting Seinergy, the Energy Trust of Oregon, Energy 350, and Gavita. This class will hit on topics like lowering your energy footprint through lighting design and new fixtures, and HVAC design and maintenance. The goal is to find the right combination of design and equipment to get the most coverage for the lowest amount of energy. This lowers your bills and helps the power companies, too.

Are you considering building out your space or looking to build a new facility? How about retrofitting old lights or upgrading your existing HVAC design? This is the class for you. Even if you're on a tight budget, come find out how you can upgrade your current or new space with leasing and financing options. You'll also find out how to qualify for up to 40% savings with new lighting equipment.
